The Tears of the Sky

Rain, oh rain, why do you weep?

Is it because your heart is heavy,

Or is it because the world is asleep?

Your tears fall down, one by one,

Each drop a symbol of your pain,

A reminder of all that's gone.

The clouds above, they seem to sigh,

As they shed their burden of tears,

And the earth below, it begins to cry.

banner

The trees, they bow their heads in sorrow,

As they drink in your sorrowful tears,

And the birds, they cease to sing tomorrow.

The world seems to stand still,

As you pour out your heart in grief,

And the air, it feels so chill.

Yet through the darkness, there is light,

A glimmer of hope, shining so bright,

A promise of a new day, breaking through the night.

Rain, oh rain, don't be so sad,

For even though your tears may fall,

They wash away the old, making way for the new.

You bring life to the earth,

And you cleanse the souls of all,

So let your tears fall freely, knowing your worth.

For without you, the world would be barren,

A lifeless wasteland, devoid of all,

But with you, there is beauty, even in pain.

So let the tears of the sky fall,

And let them cleanse the world of all,

For even in sadness, there is hope, after all.

In the end, rain, oh rain, you are not alone,

For we all shed tears, and we all must atone,

But through it all, we find a way to atone.

So let your tears fall freely, knowing your worth,

And know that in the end, you will find your rebirth,

For even in sadness, there is beauty, and there is mirth.
